The websites that these designers sell can be really good. They are mostly made from a choice of HTML, Photoshop, and Flash. If you are familiar with editing HTML, a web design template might be the best way for you to create a website yourself.

If you do not know how to do HTML, you can use the Photoshop option instead. If you have a digital camera and have had experience editing your pictures, this should suit you well. The templates that they have for Photoshop should make the design work easier for you. You just have to place text on appropriate areas. You simply have to come up with the content yourself. Flash is also another option that you have. These can give you animated websites that are better to look at. The disadvantage with Flash is that beginners are not usually familiar with them and the process of working the software can be a bit confusing. You always have the option of finding a template and hiring somebody to make a website out of it. But make sure that your website is the only one where that template is used. You would not want to have the same template as someone else. The only way to make sure that you have a unique web design is if you do it yourself or have somebody custom-make one for you.
